Very friendly staff and a wonderful place to stay. Furniture in the room is good quality and comfortable. There was a desk, couch, kitchenette, and King-sized bed in the room I stated in.
This was a fantastic choice and we will definitely stay here in the future. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and it was perfect for our party of 5. I saw some other posts about it being dated, I have to disagree. It was very well maintained and I didn't feel it was dated at all.
This room should not have been in service, and it can't be explained away with a "sorry, thank you for bringing these issues to our attention" . Some one saw this, jury rigged it, and then let it slide hoping no one would notice. Not cool.
One of our hard touring musicians Chase Williams, recently stayed here while they were performing in Amarillo and really enjoyed the stay. The bedrooms were really clean and quiet, with kitchens which is really nice when you haven't been able to eat fresh food in a while. There was also a free breakfast served by a really nice staff, this place is great!
I expect a minimum standard when I stay at the Marriott brand. This facility does not meet that standard. Just crashing here for the night, checked in and grabbed some dinner. Noticed the broken wobbly kitchen table (no big deal). Then saw the fetid pot of water catching the leak from the garbage disposal (gross). After that you just start noticing more and more. Filthy/stained toilet bowl, thread bear carpet. Sparking GFCI outlet.
Stayed here while moving across the country. The rooms are a bit dated, but the customer service was top notch! We pulled in just before midnight with our moving truck. Parking lot was full and we had to park back behind the hotel. We checked in at the front desk with Audrey, who was absolutely wonderful. When we asked about where we had parked, she said it was completely fine and she would even have the security guard check on it throughout the night. Couldn't have been more please with the customer service. Breakfast was great too!
