Horrible horrible horrible staff. Very rude and unprofessional. Told me that changes happens every week and not to expect the same things. Just because I got a nicer room it requires a 100 deposit which did not list on the website. I stay there every week once a day and sometimes even more and I get treated likes dirt. Went to a different hotel and explained what happen and they gave me a discount and were awesome! Would not recommend staying a fifth season inn! They are awful!
For an extra $30 you can stay at the red roof inn across the street and at least there the rooms are clean and the pillows are fluffy and plentiful.
Hotel with some age but hasn't lost its charm. Room, though dated, was clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff was particularly kind. They voluntarily moved my room closer to the lobby when they realized I was staying alone. Then they went the extra mile and personally showed me my room. Unexpected but very appreciated. Will definitely be returning !
Walking into the main lobby to check in, I was hopeful the negative comments were wrong. The lobby was bright and seemed inviting. Check in was quick and staff wasn't overly friendly, but wasn't rude either. We were given our room number and I knew at that point it was all downhill. We were told our room was in the back of the building. NO!! id read other reviews and I had a sinking feeling. Driving through the parking Lot is tricky. You must be on your toes to miss the craters that are every where. We find our entrance and I can tell you, inviting isnt the word I would use. More like did Stephen King just script my life? We make it to our room and it was like the Twilight zone. I was highly impressed with the antique TV, on the plus side it worked. The carpet, well kids bring sandals. I highly recommend not walking barefoot on it. Not sure if it's ever been deep cleaned, although I didn't get close enough to really check. The pillows were the most adorable things I've ever seen. (Id bring a spare.....) the water pressure in the mold ridden bathroom (mainly behind the toilet) was less than my leaky faucet at home. It got the job done, but wet wipes might be better. The real eye catcher is the bright blue tile on the floor..... after making sure there were no bugs (winner! No bugs here) we decided to try and sleep. This is were the real adventure begins. Our bed had a very interesting back support system. It had a huge divot in the middle of the bed, so regardless what side you wanted to sleep on, you will end up in the middle. Perfect for those newly weds. (I've been married for a few, so I prefer my own space....) I guess for the price you get what you pay for. Although I feel there are better options for the price close by. We didn't try the breakfast, we weren't that brave....
Staff was friendly.
Beds clean and comfortable. Manager was polite. We stayed in a "updated room" and still needs the bathroom to be updated and cleaned better. Breakfast is a joke!!! Juice machine broken, very poor choices of tea and tip jar with a sign begging for money. I tip accordingly and do it well but this was over the top. Final...they just billed me for additional charges for nothing we incurred. I called and left 2 messages for the manager to call me with no callback. Finally called my bank to file fraudulent charges!!!! Watch your credit card or better yet find a newer and cleaner place to stay.
Two extremely old pillows on the bed looked more like wadded up feathers in a case.
But now I see why they offer rooms for $35 a night. Probably won’t be returning. The rooms just had a gross feel to them and the giant stains in all the hallways were extremely welcoming. Carpet cleaners are cheap, might invest in one.
