This is a unique place. We loved the western themed room. Our room was clean and the bed was comfy. We only stayed one night, when passing through, but we would go back. If you are traveling with horses, it has a place with stalls to keep them. Their restaurant is next door, so you can just walk over. You get a discount for their breakfast buffet if you stay in the hotel. The breakfast was great!
Just off the i40/rt66 the Big Texas is a great stay for the whole family. Each room has attention to detail, with saloon doors, hirshie holders and of course the lone star of texas. Clean, comfortable and welcoming. Complete your stay with dinner at the steak house (and breakfast), home of the 72oz, home made fudge and craft beers.
Rooms were clean and fairly modern, done in a western motif. Lots of great photo ops around the buildings, laundry facilities available.
Big Texan Motel, is one of our "To Go", favorite places to run away to. Rooms have that Country Ambiance. They are always clean and have all the amenities one could ask for! 5 Stars in our book!
This is an eccentric motel located at a very convenient location. We were 5 minutes from the airport and the Big Texan Restaurant is right next door. The beds were nice and room was clean. My only complaint is they do not answer the phone when you call and you cannot book online. You have to do a request and they will call you back.
