I highly recommend Noah's Ark. We have two happy and healthy dogs thanks to them.
Not sure why I am seeing so many negative reviews because we have had nothing but great experiences here with our dogs. We have tried several vets in town and this one has shown the most compassion, been the most reasonable financially, and has been the most gentle with our babies. The first time I came in was because I lived a couple of blocks away and found my mini aussie with a huge eye swollen shut in the yard. Noah's ark was the closest vet so I took her there and the staff was very kind, reassuring me that everything was going to be ok. The vet prescribed a steroid if I remember correctly and told me to give her allergy medicine and she was back to normal within the next couple of hours.
After this experience we decided to bring our 1 yr old German Shepherd puppy in after taking him to two different vets who could not figure out why he was yelping every time he jumped in the air or played rough. Noah's ark looked at him for about 30 seconds (while being much more gentle than the other two vets I might add) and discovered that one of his testicles was trapped and when he jumped it was pulling and hurting him. Amazing, the other two clinics said it was probably the beginnings of hip dysplasia or a back problem in his lower back. They did surgery and he is now totally fine.
Over the years and along with the treatments already described, Noah's ark has treated our babies for ear infections, Ehrlichia, and allergies and has given them all of their shots. My in-laws also bring all of their pitbulls here and have had nothing but great experiences. They even had their 15 yr old family dog put down here after developing cancer and Noah's ark was gentle and kind to the very end for Halo.
I reluctantly took my kitten here since they were open on Saturday and my regular vet is not. The vet spent less than 2 minutes before giving my kitten a shot-in-the-dark cure for her cold. I also asked that we test for ringworm as I did not know where this kitten came from and I didn't want my other cat to get it as well. He assured me that there's absolutely nothing to worry about if my girlfriend and I didn't already have ringworm on our arms from holding her. Fast forward a month and now both of my beautiful kittens have multiple ringworm infections. This is after staying in the house for the entire month. This all could have been prevented if he would have just let me pay for the test, but now we have to treat both of our cats at another, more caring vet, because of his negligence. When i called concerned about this they said they aren't going to help my kittens because the vet didn't write any notes about the ringworm. I have lost my trust for some veterinarians over our treatment by this place. Please do your pets a favor and find a more caring vet. Lone star vet on south counter is one I've found to be extremely knowledgeable and caring. I Hope this helps
Dr. Pearson, Dr. Olson and staff always compassionate and patient and I never had to wait when I took my baby in for an emergency. I highly recommend Noah's Ark.
I was very unhappy with our visit. I called ahead to make sure the doctor was a reptile specialist, they confirmed. At the time of my visit every question I asked he could not answer. He actually referred me to a website that I was already using & Chameleons for Dummies (ARE YOU SERIOUS). He was very rough with my Chameleon, looked at her for maybe 15 sec. and Rx a antibiotic. I recalled that he should have done fecal testing (that he did not request). So I asked if I could bring it back. He wanted me to make another apt for that. I think he saw I was upset so he agreed to let me bring it back to drop off. All in all I will be taking my Cham to another vet. AND WILL NOT REFERR ANYONE TO HIM!! NOT EVEN YOUR FURR BABIES!!
They were wonderful. First I arrived early and the staff was so friendly and helpful. My cat ran under my car in the parking lot and they came out and helped me get her out and get her inside. Then they called me to let me know she was ok after surgery. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much for your kindness both to my family and to our cat.
