Would not even get me in for an asessment since I would not take off my jewelry. I went for help, not to be dehumanized

Just like everyone said, they just put you on all sorts of medication. No real treatment done to try and handle your situation with minimal medication. You'll be back unless you find a real establishment that will handle the situation the proper way, and yes that means gonna out of town. It's worth it though for your mental well being.

My mother was a patient around 1969. I just called in an attempt to obtain records to better help my doctors as well as my daughters and I was coldly told that there was nothing they could do because records are destroyed after 10 years. How do you find out your family mental health history then?????

Jeff was my only highlight of my 5 day stay. Dr. Mendosa is a quack and just tries to give out SSRI pills and i had almost fainted jn there care after taking them. They also lie and say you cant google review the staff are rude to their children and cause triggers in them. When i came the first day i passed out in my garage from the ssri and was unable to move for about 30min and felt horrible for a few hours i never took any of the prescriptions again. Now i am in fear of so called professional help it but again jeff is excluded from my review he is a wonder man.

My review is strictly based on my pavilion experience. (The adolescent section) I was admitted due to a schizophrenic episode. I was told I'd receive "treatment" and "proper care". After spending a week in what I like to refer to as hell, I was much more traumatized than when I had came in. For even months later, I still have dreams as to where I'm stuck there again and can't escape. Endless days rotting away of boredom & your own mind upon a plastic "couch". Constantly feeling trapped. Separated from everything that leaves you with some sense of stability. Entering group sessions in which your reminded that "this is your fault". EVERYONE begging to leave. The same thing over and over. Maybe your not in a padded white room, but my god it doesn't stop it from feeling like it. The only good this place does is place you on new medication under a strict watch. May I provide you with a statement from a girl who was admitted with me who had came from The juvenile detention center, "Juvi is better than this place" If I were to see the room and/or staff again it would most likely induce a panic attack.
