Beyond infuriating. I drove across town at lunch to talk to them about a dryer I wanted. Was told all I needed was $64 and my bank account info. Got the money after work and drove back across town. Was then told the money had to be on a card. We discussed options and I was told I could get a prepaid card, which I thought was crazy because since when was cash not an option? As I was driving to get a card they called and worked it out where I could use my cash. Drove to the store for a THIRD time only to be told that I couldn't pick the dryer up tonight, it had to be delivered and that delivery wasn't free. So not only was cash an issue, so was picking up the item that I was wanting to purchase. Ridiculous.
We were loyal customers since they opened in our town a few years ago. Our whole house is furnished by them. We had a few problems pop up here and there but they were quickly taken care of. In May of this year my husband received a settlement and we paid off all 3 of our accounts and closed the accounts. I looked at the online payoff quote and then called and verified that it was accurate. I then proceeded to make the payment online like I always did. We went back and got furniture for our daughter and we were told that one of the accounts was not paid off and that we needed to make a payment before we bought her furniture. At the time a general manager was there and we told him what we did. The general manager and sales person went back and got things cleared up and that account was now closed. In August I received a letter stating that they increased my credit line but I still owed money on my account. I called customer service and retold what I had done, i also informed them that I paid it off and would not be paying anymore money. They were supposed to look into, get it closed and call me back. They never did, so I called to check on the status. I was told that they would not close the account, I still owed the money because I was denied. I was denied because they could not verify I called and there were no written notes from the person that I talked to. Out of curiosity I checked on the account that was supposed to be fixed when we bought my daughter's furniture and it was still opened and showed we still owed money. I am beyond angry and dissatisfied. I WILL NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. THEY REFUSED TO HONOR THEIR PAYOFF QUOTE ONLINE AND VERIFIED THROUGH AN AGENT. As i am writing this i am still waiting for a manager with customer service to call me back because she was going to pull up the call logs to verify that i actually called.
Service is the worst / slowest. Almost 3 months to repair a tablet under their service plan.
Got the brand new Samsung washer and dryer from here they work great
It's worth the 6-8 month wait to get a good credit score than to get involved with this company.
Interesting place. Easy credit for people who don't need it. Quality products but salespeople make you buy up to the limit you've been approved for.
Do yourself a huge favor and visit a local credit repair agency if you have bad credit and shop at normal stores. This place should be avoided at all costs.
Interest rates aren't bad, however the accounts receivable department is awful. Make sure your payments actually post or you'll end up fighting it out with them to accept your payments !!
