Dr. Kim has been absolutely amazing to us. He is very easy to talk to, very thorough, and genuinely cares about your well-being!
I highly recommend Dr. Kim. My first encounter with him was right before my mother was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. He took the time to evaluate her symptoms, look at our family history, and then order necessary testing, therefore, finding the cancer. She went through surgery and several rounds of chemo therapy and is now in remission. Not long after that I switched providers and went under his wing. Within a weeks period from my first initial visit, I was diagnosed with Addison's Disease. A year later, he then found that I had cervical cancer and together with Dr. Archer, we were able to remove it with surgery and no chemo was needed.
He asked questions. Took a consultative approach. Showed genuine concern for my thoughts and feelings.
Good at: Taking money (more if you have insurance than private pay), Charges money even if no one sees you (fee for missing appointment - they want your money even if you don't receive any services), orders expensive tests, Nurse practitioners routinely misdiagnose, and refers you to expensive specialists for literally everything that isn't an easy "pill fix". It felt very rushed, and if you have any more questions while you're there, too bad! Schedule another appointment! Forget it. Doctor power-trip, much? Oh and the Doc is only there 3 days/week.
Dr Kim is very perceptive and listens to his patients. I am so glad to have him as my physician. Great doctor!!
This Doctor revolves his patients time around his? His number one obligation should be his patients. It is not. If a patient needs to see him he needs to make the time and effort to do so. Not try to schedule an appointment 2 months down the road. They will tell you that he can see you only if you are sick. That is BS. The whole idea of having a Doctor is to prevent you from getting sick, not just to cure you when you are sick. Plenty of other Doctors in this area who is more than happy to see you when you want to on your schedule.
