The part finally arrived and they called and told me my vehicle was ready. However, I took my car to another location to get the portions that were overpriced by Midas done. I was told that the exact part that was being fixed by Midas.... was leaking.
Midas has worked well with me over the years. Robert and Joe are great! Sometimes prices seem high and I have been disappointed before, but over all they are not out to stick it to anyone. I trust these guys and have been very happy with them.
I went in just to have a headlight bulb put in. I was quoted 29.99. They put my car in the garage and then informed me it was going to be 56.00 Because they had to remove a couple more panels and12.99 For the bulb. I couldn't afford that, so I googled how to do it myself. It took me all of 10min.to change it. I am truly dissapointed. I usually take my car in there for the oil change but I will be going elsewhere now. I feel like he tried to increase the rate do to me being a woman and thinking I was stupid. Well I guess I was, but thanks to them, I smartened up.
Lack-luster and careless attention to a profession is frustrating as a paying customer. The manager should have inspected the completed work, but obviously the mechanic was the only person to give the green light.
I was told that I would need new tires, fluids changed, and my axle was leaking. They quoted me a very high price for everything so I decided to just get the axle portion done. I was told it would be done same-day and received a call same-day telling me they would need to order a part which wouldn't arrive for 4 days and that my car would have to stay with them until then.
Piss poor customer service. Took them two hours to fix an alignment that was done not even two months ago. They were reluctant to fix it and they thought I had done something or hit something for the alignment being off. I had not messed with my truck or hit anything hard. I felt like I was being called a liar. Will be going somewhere else from now on. Wish I could give a lower rating.
Nice talking to Robert today with his mouth full of food. I would stay away from this shop.
Believe these negative reviews. I wish I had read them before taking my vehicle in.
