Enjoyed an excellent HUGE sirloin with shrimp, salad and baked potato. Considering the size of the steak it was priced very reasonably. The atmosphere is rustic old west and the gift shop is well stocked. They even have ice cream and fudge for your sweet tooth. Truck parking to boot.
My family visited here from New Mexico just so my husband could do the steak challenge.We were picked up from our hotel by their limo service which the kids loved! While my husband was on the stage we were sat next to some nice folks who helped cheer him on....he did not finish but the atmosphere and experience was satisfying enough. The food we ordered was enjoyable and so was my drink! Don't forget to pick up some fudge on the way out.
A limo picked us up from our hotel. The service was fantastic. The food delicious. My steak was beautifully cooked. My husband had a great steak sandwich. The price for dinner was very good. Not pricey for superb steaks. We were serenaded by 3 musicians who had beautiful voices. The gift shop was magical. Then a limo took us back to our hotel. Highly recommend.
1st time ever eating here and was not that great. Ordered the steak sandwich off the lunch menu and was charged normal price. But anyway we received food and steak was suppose to be well done wife cut into hers and blood red I took a bite of mine and blood red. Sent both back. When they returned they were total different steaks and half portions of what was first sent out. The sweet potato must have not been from Texas by reading there logo everything in Texas is bigger??? It was literally the smallest one I ever seen in my life the first one and the second one but only eat the second one they brought out with the new well done steak. The well done steaks second time around we're just average. The server did give us a 20 percent off our bill but they got it back by over charging for the dinner price other than the lunch price. That was our last stop in this place.
This is an experience. And the steak? Dang...it's outta this world....juicy. Unfortunately, on our 1 and only time there (so far), we got seated upstairs near the kitchen prep area. Not great seat, but we didn't complain....why? Atmosphere, food (incredible), and well, the food. Even our 9 year old loved the steaks. We will be back....may take a few years...but we will be back. Worth every penny.
