It's was a great experience! The staff was beyond helpful and made sure we understood how things operated. The taste testing of chicken and brisket was great! We will return!
I ordered a half pound of brisket, half pound of ribs, and a half a jalepeno sausage. They measured out portions which is nice. The moist brisket was juicy with a crust but the ribs were my favorite. Good flavor and done to perfection but people who like a very bold smoke flavor may wish for more.
After visiting a location in Houston and falling in love with their brisket, I knew I had to make a pit stop here when we were driving through. I wasn't crazy about their Ribs or anything else, so I simply got a plate of brisket. That's it. I kept it simple and I was perfectly happy. I didn't even use sauce because the meat was tender, juicy and flavorful enough on its own.

The half sausage was still the size of a fat hot dog and good flavor.

Have been to Rudys before for lunch. Great BBQ. We went for breakfast and there was only one other person in there. Don't know why there weren't more people in there. The breakfast tacos were really good. They were also very affordable. They have a fixins bar and plenty of different sauces to choose from (mostly of the hot sauce variety). Great dining area adds to the atmosphere. Looking for good BBQ or great breakfast tacos. Rudys is a great choice.
