The store itself is great! They carry a great selection of products for a little more than other chainstores, but is great if you are like me and like to avoid those bigger retailers. I am always impressed with the variety and selection in their lawn and garden section. I do have to say that the customer service needs massive improvement. I frequent this store often due to the convenience; however, I am always amazed at the lack of customer service. I frequently see associates pass by without offering assistance or even acknowledging you. Every time I go to check out, the sales associate doesn't say a word. On my recent visit, the associate was on the phone the entire transaction and didn't even give me a bag for my multiple items. This type of behavior is why I choose to avoid those bigger retail chains. Great products but poor customer service.
Great products and prices. Customer service could use some work but overall we are satisfied. Also, they have fans but it's get hot quickly if in one area too long.
My wife and i had a bad shopping experience at the sutherlands in Amarillo. We looked around the store for several minutes looking for someone to assist us. The manager wasnt willing to help me find hanging decorations for our garden.
Which is too bad, I used to like it here. they have a lot of small items you can't find another hardware stores.
This place used to be better, but they got rid of too much help. Now it's too hard to get assistance.
