Parie, Mark, and Jami are an incredibly talented team. I used PD for day-of-coordination and floral at my wedding. They made my dream wedding come true. Many guests commented that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to, in large part to PD's styling and floral arrangements at the venue. They were much more involved than just a day-of-coordinator. I was planning the wedding from afar and we met a handful of times in person throughout the year leading up to the wedding, they offered recommendations for vendors, and they really took over the month of the wedding. They communicated with all of the vendors about the wedding day timeline, they made sure all parties were where they needed to be during the wedding, and my wedding was PERFECT. It felt great to be in such good hands. I couldn't have done it without Parie Designs.
With a perfect wedding, you must be asking, why four stars? While the service and floral were impeccable, we ran into several inconsistencies on the invoice. It's disappointing, even to me, to subtract a star due to invoice issues. The initial consultation consists of filling out an invoice based on the vision you present of your wedding, then you pay half of the initial invoice as a booking fee. Nine months later, right before the wedding, I received an updated invoice for our final payment. The final invoice was about $1,500 more expensive than our initial invoice, but I hadn't added $1,500 worth of rentals to the invoice. I compared item by item to find that 5 invoice items had gone up in price from the initial invoice. There was back and forth about these items, and some of them were lowered back to the original price, but not all of them.
I highly recommend Parie Designs so long as you keep the initial invoice in a safe spot so you can compare to the final invoice.
