I am the parent of a current student. I would like to say first off that this is a loving and caring school. Teaching the word of God is first and foremost for this wonderful school. It should be also said that this school does not know that I am writing this and that I am not a direct representative of the school. The disgruntled parent was one that tried to spread malicious false facts about a teacher in an attempt to have her fired so that she could take her position. In fact this teacher has been in a serious relationship for quite some time and is planning on marriage in the near future. This school has showed nothing but love to all of its students and families. I know this first hand in that me and my family are blue collard people and are treated no different than the other families. For example my daughter was very sick for a short time and the ENTIRE school missed while she was gone and welcomed her back with open arms. To this day the out pouring of love can be felt as you walk through the front doors. As far as the comment that the Pre-K teachers that are not certified, the Pre-K teacher does have an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development and the other teacher has since passed all necessary test and is now certified to teach, she was at the time teaching leagally under a temporary license. Again I want to reiterate that these are my own opinions and not those of the school.
I'm the parent of former students. I didn't want to review while my kids were still there, so this is delayed. I'm involved with the schools & church & I've spoken with many current parents before reviewing. Montessori: the teacher is wonderful & the program is amazing. Pre-K: the teacher is horrible. She is so concerned with getting the attention of the single fathers, that she is rude to other parents. She favors the children of the single fathers & allows those children to be hateful to the other children. She is NOT a certified teacher. She has told children & adults that she doesnt like certain children in her class. Kinder: This teacher tells other adults she hates some students & then those poor kids have to stand in the hall ALL DAY! 1st - 3rd: These teachers are wonderful. They love their students! 4th - This teacher was not there when my children were in the 4th grade, but she is NOT certified either. She's very nice & the students seem to like her. 5th: This is by far one of the best teachers ever! The students love being in class & learn SOOO much! If all of the teachers were like Montessori, 1st-3rd & 5th & possibly 4th it'd be an amazing, highly recommended school.
