It is a safe park. It has a good sidewalk for running, and the Tuesday night concerts are a cool and safe place to relax.
I had my wedding thrre at sam houston park on sept 2. A.nd ot was a horrible experience. Tnere were 12 13 year kid's there wanting to fight my guests. The cops had to b called. Horrible park to do anything at. Dont hangout there. High crime area. BE WARE.
it was a great place! my Youth Kids had their birthday party there and we had an awesome time!
Great park, nice grass, good picnic areas, animal and kid friendly. Great place for music ,
Good place for a picnic. Usually quiet. The middle school kids usually don't come all the way to the back of the park if that is a concern on school days.
