Interesting, and educational. A neat historical view of the history of an American breed.
Beautiful and thorough history of an incredible breed and the people who built it. Only $7 admission, free for AD military and AQHA members with membership card.
Interesting information on the quarter horse. The staff was nice. My kids loved playing on the electric horse in the back room.
Beautiful architecture inside and out, though the museum exhibits will likely be smaller than you expect from a look at the outside of the building. Museum mostly geared to children downstairs with a more mature history of the association and quarter horse racing upstairs. I had more fun downstairs than upstairs, the conversations between "Doc" and "Two Bits" - caricatures of a veterinarian and a horse - were entertaining. Gift shop was well stocked but we felt many items were overpriced. Given the opulence of the building it didn't look like AQHA was hurting for money and we were reluctant to buy expensive sweatshirts as a result. Free/reduced admission for military and veterans.
Very nice place. Lots of information and exhibits are played out nicely. Some problems with sound on the movies but still glad I went.
