Was suppose to move yesterday but no call no show till someone else called and maximum movers picked up the phone I'm guessing because they didn't recognize the number. They made and excuse like I had a choice in hiring someone else last minute to move me. So we rescheduled for this morning at 9 am... yep you guessed it, they screwed me again. No call no show... 1:40 rolls around to get a phone call saying "gotta get the truck and come HELP YOU NOW"... I'm done! You can go bare false witness against someone else.
I know that the service industry is hectic, but they did not communicate well with me throughout the move.
About a month ago, I hired Maximum Movers. It was best experience, especially when compared to other moving companies. The company I tried to hire prior to them put me off and could never give me a time...turns out they forgot to add me to their schedule. I called Ozzy the day before, they worked me in, and in under two hours I was moved. The two men that came out were polite, hard working, and easy to get along with. They were in uniform and acted professional the entire time. I've been referring to them every since.
We used Maximum Movers about half a year ago to help us move to our apartment, and they were nothing but amazing. They were so helpful, and overall I was very impressed and I couldn't of been happier. Now I get to why they get only 2 stars. So we just had to move again and with our previous satisfaction we without adoubt chose them again. I'll leave names out of the review, but the guy who claimed to be one of the owners was the person who was helping us this time and he seemed nothing but awesome at first, but that was soon to change. To start the day out his crew called in on him, but we know how life goes and we were completely understanding. So eventually everything got packed and they were gonna grab a quick dinner before they headed out on the about 4 hour trip. So it got to the point where they were about an hour late and we couldn't get ahold of anyone at all. It was over 2 and 1/2 hours behind schedule when we finally got ahold of him. At that point we had got a hotel cause we didn't know what was going on and we asked him if we could do it in the morning because it was after 11 at night at this point but the guy wasn't happy about this. He started yelling and getting pissy at us and got so scary that we called the local police just to make sure he was stable. He kept lying constantly about where he was and how close he was, which I see many of other people had the same problem with him after reading other reviews. After about 1 a.m. he agreed to do it in the morning. In the end we got our stuff fine and his helpers were beyond nice and awesome like last time, but the owner guy was overall rude, horrible, and made the whole thing a nightmare. I've had bad customer service before but this is completely unacceptable, he shouldn't be working there, or even being running the business at all. I'm not sure if they got new management or what, but something definitely changed. Thank you to the helpers who were beyond nice again, y'all were awesome, but to the guy who said he was one of the owners, you were awful, rude, a liar, and my worst experience ever in anything I've had to encountered.
If you want a company that'll no call, no show on the day u are depending on them then this is your place! They wouldn't answer calls or texts either. Left me in tears and my family in a really difficult bind! Do not rely on these guys! I'd give them zero stars if it were an option.
I scheduled the move 3 weeks in advanced and called them 4 days before the move to confirm the time and location. They were 4 hours late. Each time I called, they assured me that they were only an hour away. Once they finally showed up, the movers were great which is why I am giving them 2 stars. After everything was loaded into their truck, they left for the destination (1 hour away) and told us they were heading straight there. They showed up nearly 3 hours later, because they went to a restaurant to eat (which is fine, humans need to eat, however, they never called to let us know what they were doing and that they would be 3 hours).
