This used to be a discount store where short-date, overstock and refused grocery items were brought to be sold quickly. It now looks more like a regular grocery store. Prices are similar to other stores. There are some steeply discounted items so it's fun to find them.
Produce is great. Staff can be rude. Staff complaining about pay. I dont think that should be done with customers around.
Prices on produce are good but is a clearence store so quality of produce can be poor. If you get it eat it right way because may not keep.
You can always find good deals at Panhandle Salvage. You just have to make sure you look at the price instead of assume everything is inexpensive or you might be surprised when you get to the register. I used to not be able to shop here very much because they closed early in the evening and had early weekend hours too. But I was thrilled when I saw that had extended their hours to 8 pm! They also extended weekend hours. If the store is out of your way it is worth the drive for the savings
